To participate in both the Sprint and Standard distances select the E2 (SPT+STD) option during online registration. Non Triathlon South Africa (TSA) members must purchase a race day license, which is included in the non TSA member fee. License fees are:

  • Kids 12-15: R30
  • Sprint: R30
  • Standard: R100
  • ELEVEN:R130 

Paratriathletes: When entering, first select the race distance then select the paratriathlete button in the category section. 

Novice: If this is your very first triathlon you may enter as a novice. Novice awards issued to top 3 male and female and not per age group. Select the novice button in the category section during online registration.

October 14 

4pm-7pm: Packet pick-up on the Cabanas Lawn

October 15

Sprint triathlon  - Minimum age 16, starts at 7:00am. 

   Triathlon  - starts at 9:30 am

  • Age Group 6-8: 50m swim, 1.5km bike and run 1km
  • Age Group 9-11: 100m swim, 5km bike and run 1.25km
  • Age Group 12-15: 200m swim, 10km bike and 2.5km run

One parent may assist with setup in the transition area before the race starts. The swim is at the WaterWorld Complex with the 6-8 swim in shallow water where standing is possible. Lifeguards will line the entire 6-8 swim course and one parent may accompany their 6-8 child during the swim. The bike and run takes place on the Gary Player Championship Golf Course. View the Course Maps

5am-6:30am: Packet collection, Cabanas Lawn (Sprint and ELEVEN2 only)
6:50am: Pre-race briefing at Sprint triathlon swim start for
7am: Sprint triathlon starts
8:30am-9am: Packet collection, Cabanas Lawn ( kid's only)
9:25am: Pre-race briefing at the swim start for kid's triathlon
9:30am: Kids Triathlon starts with age group 12-15. Age group 9-11 will start once the entire 12-15 group has finished. Age group 6-8 will start once the entire 9-11 group has finished.
11:30am: Sprint and kid's prize giving at the Cabanas Lawn
5pm-6:30pm: Packet collection on the Cabanas Lawn

October 16

5am-6:30am: Packet collection, Cabanas Lawn
6:50am: Pre-race briefing at the swim start
7am: Standard triathlon starts
11:30am: Prize giving on Cabanas Lawn

Parking For Non Sun City Residents

Park in the main parking lot to the left of the main gate. 

Valley Of the Waves  
All triathletes receive entry to the Valley of the Waves. Collect your entry bracelet at the finish area after your race. 

General Info

Swim waves will be announced closer to race day.
TSA refs to determine wetsuit use on race day, however this is not expected.
Time trial bikes are allowed! Bike is non-drafting.
Triathletes must use the timing chip provided.
